James has begun a new training regime at Branston gym devised specifically for him by Leon Simpson at Total Body. The specialist golf programme has been created following guidelines set by the Staffordshire County Golf Partnership (supported by England Golf). It promotes a mix of warm up, flexibility and core strength exercises designed for James’ age and skillset.

Well done James – he played really well in the final round at Mottram Hall at the weekend – with a 7 over par round to win by a record 28 shots.
James is training and preparing for the Callaway Qualifier being held this coming weekend at Cheshire’s Mottran Hall. Good luck James.
Well done James – runner up in last Saturday’s Athol Jamieson Trophy (sponsored by Tee2Green) – a close second and a good way to close this year’s individual majors at Branston.
James has just won the Branston Midweek Stableford competition – won narrowly on a countback – well done James!
On Sunday 16th September, James was delighted to win the Branston Junior Golf Championship by one point! He played under tough conditions to shoot under 90 and emerge triumphant! Well done to James on this big win.
After a very busy few months, James is enjoying the summer holidays and has been spending time in Spain with his family. He couldn’t resist playing a round in Spain though (after Dad snuck a half set of clubs on the plane) and won the individual (with 43 points) and helped his team win wine and chocolates on the Friday Golf Society at Almerimar Golf Club.
James is looking forward to getting back in to competitions and his regular training schedule at the end of August.
